Another hotel I stayed during my recent Bangkok trip was the Rosewood Bangkok. I am always a fan of the Rosewood hotels - I mean -who isn't ? They got such unique, elegant aesthetic with a sophisticated modern vibe. Check out my previous stay at the flagship - Rosewood Hong Kong.

The Rosewood Bangkok is also a gorgeous property. It has been on my bucket list for a while (it was opened in 2019 then the COVID happened) since I first saw a picture of their swimming pool on social media. The pool got such amazing design - it was indoor and in shade yet felt so natural and open air with a beautiful Bangkok skyline.

Their breakfast was one of a kind and got such beautiful spreads where your could get all the beautifully and freshly baked pastries. I also had a dinner at the Lakorn which did modern Thai cuisines. The services was exceptional and food was good too!

What a fascinating property and cannot wait to come back again soon.

Another hotel we stayed during our recent Bangkok trip was the Madi Paidi Bangkok, Autograph Collection. While I always enjoyed staying at the traditional luxury hotels (for the service, location and usually a wider range of restaurant offerings), it was also interesting to explore the local and experience some boutique hotels. The autograph collection is therefore one of my go to brands for more unique vacation experience.

The Madi Paidi Bangkok, Autograph Collection was a very new hotel opened (freshly) late last year. Located in the vibrant Thong Lor district, it was also close to a lot of trendy clubs, bars, restaurants and shops. I love their rooftop pool a lot, it was not big but felt so private and intimate, with a beautiful skyline.

We also enjoyed their breakfast a lot- it was “order to table” style and got such nice presentation. They also served really nice fruit at breakfast (it was Thailand I know but they still tasted so so good!)

Just had an Easter weekned trip to Bangkok for vacation and we stayed at the W Bangkok. You know a vacation with friends is always meant to be party, have fun and mess around- the W Bangkok was such perfect destination. It was fun and vibrant and all the staff was very friendly. We spent quite some time at the stylish rooftop WET Pool and enjoyed the sunshine. We also had a dinner and drinks at the classy heritage architecture – The House on Sathorn. It was a “neo-classical structure dating from 1889 functioned first as private residence, by the 1920s had become a hotel, then later from mid-century to 1999 served as site of the Russian embassy”. We were so amazed by the beautiful design and the dinner was nice too!
