A Stay at The Shanhaitian Resort Sanya, Autograph Collection
This April, I had a visit to Sanya, the acclaimed 'Hawaii of China'. This was my second time to Sanya (my first time was like 10 years ago with my mum) Things have changed quite a lot but the long coastline and the fine beach were still same!
The Shanhaitian Resort Sanya, Autograph Collection was just opened this year in Sanya and was indeed the first autograph Collection hotel of Marriott in China. Autograph Collection is a fun and unique concept/brand introduced by the hotel giant- Marriott. 'Exactly like nothing else, each destination has been selected for its quality, bold originality, rich character and uncommon details' is their core value.
True, The Shanhaitian Resort Sanya, Autograph Collection has showcased a unique yet colorful personality. Well inspired by the sea itself, their interior consists of blues, whites, and shining glass coming together to mimic the effects of splashing waves to the white and fine sand.Here are a few recaps of my stay:
The moment I walked in my room, I was like WOW (the balcony was totally GOAL)
The room was of a relaxing, comfy style and it was just so perfect for holiday!
My favourite part of the room was totally the bathroom ! The tub was HUGE and perfect for couples!
Breakfast with a view! What else could you ask?
The view from my balcony was more than LEGIT!
There were 5 swimming pools in the hotel with 2 being 'infinity'- perfect for the gram huh?
A dinner at the Chinese restaurant- The Residence was totally a treat! The Charsiu was super tender and juicy!
The Hainan chicken rice came quite mini as a fun twist. (The plating was very fine and sophisticated)
And if you got time and would love to learn more about local culture or buy some indigenous souvenirs, a day trip to the Romance Park would be great for you! This dance performance I watched was 'massive' and one of a kind!
But to be fair, just a walk by the seafront (with the soft sea breeze) could already be soooo enjoyable.
Overall I really love the unique designs and concepts of the hotel. It was very relaxing yet very stylish and chic!
Indeed the whole idea of 'Autograph Collection' was pretty amazing and I always love how they take local inspirations into their design.
