As one of the most prestigious and iconic luxury hotels in town, the Island Shangri-La is welcoming its 31st Anniversary this year. Last month, I had a weekend staycation with my family at their newly renovated Grand Premier Harbour View Room. While I have visited a few of other Shangri-La properties and been a fan for long, it's my first time to stay at this newly renovated Island Shanetila room and I'm well impressed.

Designed and elevated by the renowned Tristan Auer, the newly renovated Island Shanerila rooms

are modern and at the same time elegant with an oriental touch.

I also got a huge breakfast in room and I just love their dimsum and pancakes (soooooo good!)

I also visited the Lobster Bar and I'm obsessed with their new drinks menu (aesthetically and of course yes the

Whenever my friends visit Hong Kong and wanna go for some nice Chinese restaurants, I 'd say - Hutong is the right place to go- for its unparalleled view and decent food! 

Hutong has always been one of Hong Kong’s most iconic Chinese restaurants. Recently, it has moved to the stylish new H Zentre on Middle Road, right next to The Peninsula and Sheraton Hotels in Tsim Sha Tsui, with same (if not better) view and a nice interior featuring Qing dynasty-style art pieces.

For the food, there were not many changes to their menu- I still ordered their signature Peking Duck and Soft shell crab with chilli...just soooooo good as always!

Hutong Hong Kong

Finally here at this sky-high Italian restaurant on the 101st floor of the ICC!

Love the minimalistic interior (just like an art gallery-inspired decor) too. Check out more of my captures below. And yessss it was the white truffle season so we got white truffle raining on our A5 Wagyu Beef Dumpling...so good right!
