Earlier this month, I visited Paris and stayed at a really beautiful design hotel- the Le Narcisse Blanc, Paris! Located at the heart of Paris, with a historic neighbourhood, Le Narcisse Blanc was a modern yet elegant establishment. The whole hotel was of a romantic yet polished design. Here are a few of my shots!

The welcome amenity!

The comfy bed with a beautiful backdrop/wall!

A closer look of the details!

The working table!

Other corners of the hotel!

Their swimming pool was not something you should miss!

To all the white marble lovers....this's goal!

Then, I also had a dinner at the Cleo restaurant!

The food was absolutely amazing!! Indeed one of the best meals I had in Paris!

This Gianduja Chocolate Mousse Cake was just heavenly!

But sorry, my top favourite still went to this Rice Pudding with almond milk and peach! It was so so so goooooooood, and such a perfect ending to our dinner!

Apart from lunch and dinner, guests could also visit Cleo for breakfast!

And starting your day with this Egg Benedict was such a treat!

Another corner of romance!

All in all, my stay here was absolutely great!
The Le Narcisse Blanc, Paris was such an aesthetically pleasing establishment! And it was very Parisian- with their fine, artistic details everywhere and romantic ambiance! I definitely look forward to a second visit!

As mentioned in some of my previous blog/ Instagram posts, the Saga beef is of amazing quality! To ensure and maintain Saga beef's great reputation, there’s a very strict and scientific system behind. And during my trip to Saga last week, I got a very precious opportunity to visit the JA-Saga Meat Centre where I learnt more about how the locals processed and graded the Saga Wagyu Beef! Here are a few of my shots!
The whole grading process was quite complicated yet very well structured and scientific- say they looked into the 'Marbling', 'Meat colour and brightness', 'Meat firmness and texture', and 'Fat colour, luster and quality' and more to determine the meat quality grade.
Having a look of the A5 (highest grade) Saga beef was definitely the most exciting part!
YESSSS! This sexy marbling could only belong to the finest A5 Saga beef!
And this shows how the different parts of Saga beef were cut and processed.
Here's a table from Kira, showing what's the difference between 'Saga beef' and 'Saga-wagyu beef'- only the best beef ranked at A4 to A5 level could be called and branded 'Saga beef', or otherwise the 'Saga-wagyu beef'.
The official certificates from the Saga officials!
My to-go place for the best Saga beef in Saga: Kira!
My to-go place for the best Saga beef in Hong Kong: Hana by the Mr. Steak Concept
And you just couldn't miss this new ShabuShabu set there! (with the finest Saga beef)
But back to this visit to the JA-Saga Meat Centre, it was definitely a memorable one and I have learnt much more about how Wagyu is graded and why 'Saga Beef' is so prestigious even in the wagyu world. All of that took so much effort from breeding, growing, butchering to measuring. I definitely look forward to learning and sharing more about different food ingredients in the future! Stay tuned!

What's your favourite fruit? Mine is 1000% peachhhh!!
And talking about peach, the 'Nagano Kawanakajima Hakuto Peach' is definitely one of the best!

Last week I got a fresh peach delivery from the Fruitmaster Hong Kong! And OMG, the peaches were of amazing quality- super sweet and juicy!
Together with the peachssss, there were also some mini booklets about the peachs' origin and recipe! Maybe I should try to home-make a peach cake one day!
More details on https://fruitmaster.com.hk/en/Stone-Fruits/ !!
Happy peachy day!
