Last October, I had my first visit to Beijing and stayed at the Park Hyatt Beijing.

This is my fifth Park Hyatt experience and third Park Hyatt stay in 2023. The experience with Park Hyatt Beijing was really good, well each of these Park Hyatt hotels got its unique charm- I love the Park Hyatt Shanghai for the beauty of silence and zen vibes, and the Park Hyatt Saigon for the classic historic charm, then the Park Hyatt Beijing for being elegant, sophisticated but also modern.

I loved my room for the "open layout" which made the room look much more spacious. The bathtub was huge and my bed and couch were extremely comfy that I could totally stayed here all day. My room got this incredible panoramic views of Beijing's CBD. The gym was well equipped and the pool was also very really pretty!

During my recent visit to Tokyo, I have also stayed at the beautiful Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo.

The Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo has been a magnificent architecture next to/above the Tokyo Station. While I had visited a few other Shangri-La hotels in various cities in China and Southeast Asia, I was still really really excited about checking the Tokyo one out.

The hotel occupied the top floors of the Marunouchi Trust Tower and was really close to to the major landmarks like the Imperial Palace and the Ginza Shopping District, and etc.

One of my favorite parts of the hotel is the Horizon Club lounge- I have been to a few horizon club lounges from other Shangri-La properties but the one in Tokyo was probably one of the best ever. The lounge was not too big but the food (fruit, pastries, canapes, etc) and drinks were all so good and just of the finest quality. The melon juice and sponge cake with Muscat grape were heavenly and totally my favourite!

My room also got such amazing view of the Tokyo skyline and the skytree tower.  The breakfast we had was another highlight- they have different breakfast sets of different themes, and my Japanese ones were so yummy.

The staff we met was also exceptionally friendly and helpful. I totally felt like home and will surely come back again!

I have always been a #fanofMO - I love how each Mandarin Oriental hotel is so classy but also with its unique oriental  charm. Last November, I’m back to one of my favourite cities- Tokyo and stayed at the Mandarin Oriental Tokyo.

The Mandarin Oriental Tokyo has been on my bucket list for so so so long- it was such a legendary hotel -while Tokyo got so many luxury hotels (new or old, classic or modern), the Mandarin Oriental Tokyo has  always on the top when you talk/searchabout the best hotels in town. My #MOTokyo experience just didn’t disappoint (as expected I would say HAHA!)

The interior was so beautiful- enchanting to be honest. The blend of classic Japanese elements (the Japanese pine trees and wood and bamboo) was so classy but modern. The lobby was very spatious and got a welcoming vibe. I also love the view from my room and yes you have to pick the room with Tokyo Skytree view! The panoramic view was incredible and you would be amazed by the city’s skyline and how such an incredible city Tokyo was!

I also had my dinner at Signature, a French fine dining restaurant at the hotel. I always love to have western cuisines (french in particular) in Japan - you know the Japanese got such high attention to details and a great art sense. Besides, the Japanese vegetables and meat were all of the best quality.  French cuisines with a bit of Japanese twist and local ingredients were just the best! The restaurant also got an incredible view of the Tokyo skyline! Absolutely love it!
